Wet Wild eyeshadow trio in Egyptian Sands Review/Swatches

Wet n Wild Mega Eyes Eyeshadow Trio
in Egyptian Sands Review/Swatches

Let me start off to say this is one of Wet n Wild's best products
It is around $3 at my local drugstore and widely available

The colors are labeled browbone, crease, and eyelid
(however I normally switch the crease and eyelid color)
[[The middle color looks a little yellow in the picture above, but it is more pink than  yellow]]

Colors from top to bottom:
 Browbone: light shimmery off-white highlight
Crease: Shimmery champagne (or more of a rose gold) It is kind of pink
Eyelid: medium mocha-chocolate brown
They all are shimmery

A wonderfully sized mirror pulls out of the bottom
It also comes with a sponge tip applicator
Pigmentation is good, and the shimmer is wonderful

I can remember when this was very very popular a while ago on youtube.
The colors are smooth and blendable which makes it easy to drag them along the bottom
lashline for added drama

Pros:
Inexpensive
Very available
Colors work well together

Cons:
Packaging.  I do not like how the lid only goes up 90 degrees
Fallout
Product ratio    (you do get a lot of product, but I like the middle
color best and put it along my eyelid instead of crease which uses up the product)
Shimmer and color does fade, so if you are planning
on wearing this into the night touch up is necessary

I would recommend this product

E.L.F. $1 Eyeshadow Quad in Teal Dream Review/Swatches

E.L.F. $1 Eyeshadow Quad in Teal Dream
Let me start off to say I love this product!
It is inexpensive and the quality is great

The packaging is fairley small, but you get a small dual ended eyeshadow
sponge tip applicator, and under it is a small, fairly useless mirror.
(I think E.L.F. keeps their prices down by smaller product sizes)

Colors (left to right)
White shimmer, light silver, shimmery blue, shimmery green
All the colors look great together and the tones resemble the name "teal dream" very well
The colors are pretty much what they look like in the packaging.
But here are some swatches, I did go over the colors
a few times but they are very very pigmented.
There is not a lot of fall out when applied and staying
power is fine, but as always, I use a primer. All the colors are soft and very blendable.
You can also add some eye drops to a eyeliner brush and turn it into a liner and
drag it along the bottom lashline for a pop of color, which is how i wear it often.

This is a MUST BUY for me, there is very good pigmentation and the price is unbeatable
I can't wait to own more of these

MAC Mineralized SkinFinish Natural Review

MAC Mineralized SkinFinish Natural Powder Review

Are you ever skeptical to buy something because of the price?
Although you always hear raves about it you just aren't sure you will like it?

MAC Mineralized SkinFinish Natural seemed like that kind of product to me. I am such a budget buyer, but I was tired of poor quality from drugstore products and I decided to branch out and buy something high-end

I should have named this a product RAVE instead of REVIEW because I am so happy with this product

It is 10g/.35ounces and the packaging is very durable
but it does not have a mirror or come with an applicator (I use the ELF Studio Kabuki Brush to apply it)

(the pic from the website)

It is incredibly durable packaging that does not feel cheap at all. You can tell the product is fantastic and quality is there 100%. Staying power is great. I do touch up after school (and sometimes during lunch if my ski is causing problems that day), and although it does wear a little out during the day it is still eough coverage.
The shade matches me well (although it may be half a shade too light, but medium is too dark). It is hard to compare it to a drugstore brand I've tried because this sets the bar too high.
I cannot stress how happy I am with the product. I still think $26 is a high price, but it is worth it. (It is 10grams and usually powder is less than 8 grams)
Because coverage is not a problem, on good skin days I conceal dark circles and apply this. Usually I apply tinted moisturizer and concealer (ELF/Mary Kay t.n. and Maybelline/MAC concealer) then this powder.
It does not break me out and I feel my skin can breathe when I wear this

When I first used it, it looked a little cakey so next time I just put on less.
Coverage is fantastic for a powder and I am happy with the result

The $26 seems a little high but you do get a decent amount of product and it does
last a few months and the quality is fantastic

Pros
You can be matched if you go into a store
Pigmentation
Coverage
Durable packaging
Quality
Natural looking finish
Compact so it is easily portable
Good staying power

Cons
Price (although the amount of product is a plus)
Lack of availability
Doesn't come with applicator or mirror

Shades
I purchased my shade in light medium
I am NW20 in the MAC prolongwear concealer
Neutrogena 20-30 foundation shades
100-103 ivory shades in Rimmel foundation
ivory 2 in Mary Kay tinted moisturizer
^^I hope the above shade references help you!

MAC used to be a professional stage makeup company because the coverage is great.
A little goes a long way with MAC because it can look cakey if you put too much on. So a light hand is ideal

TAG: 3 products I can't live without

Are there any makeup products you have an extras in your car or purse?
Have you ever gone back home because you forgot your favorite lipstick?

My TOP 3 products I can't live without

1. Mascara. I love Maybelline Colossal mascara.
My lashes are awful and I have slightly hooded eyelids so mascara is always a must

2. Blush. It's a tie between Revlon Rosy glow creme blush and ELF studio blush in peachy keen
I love how it brightens up your entire face and can make you glow

3. Foundation Rimmel or MAC MSF Natural
Powder or liquid, whatever. When I wake up my face is kind of red and I look
so much better with an even skintone, so foundation is a daily must!

This was such a quick TAG! Write your top 3 products in the comments

Maybelline Sunbaked Neutrals eyeshadow palette Review/Swatches

Maybelline Sunbaked Neutrals 10 eyeshadow palette
less than $7
Matte, Shimmer, and High Pearl finishes
There are 8 eyeshadows and two dual ended sponge tip applicators.
The packaging is slim and plastic

The dime shows the size of the individual eye colors, so they're fairly small.
 Colors
Top left to right: a light nude (shimmer), light brown (matte), light nude/champagne/beige (high pearl), green (matte/shimmer)
Bottom left to right: brown (matte/shimmer), brown w/ copper undertones (high pearl), white (shimmer), darker green (shimmer/high pearl)
Of course I use an eyeshadow primer, and they are long lasting, very smooth and blendable, fairly pigmented
When I go away for a weekend or even a week I take this with me
(and it stays in my purse other times) because it is so slim and
the colors work very well together. I use the top row 2nd color as an eyebrow powder

I would recommend this because it is good quality, and decent
drugstore eyeshadows (espically palettes)  are rare

E.L.F. Studio Corrective Concealer Review/Swatches

E.L.F. Studio Corrective Concealer
Shade: Light
$3
Available at select Target stores and eyeslipsface.com

The Case is sleek and black.

There is a small mirror on the other side of the cover

The colors
A lighter ivory, a light with a little yellow undertone, a light with pinkish cool undertones,
and a light with golden or tan undertones

The lighting is pretty bad with the swatches, sorry, but hopefully it shows the pigmentation is okay
It isn't shimmery, more creamy and dewy.
But you can tell the quality you get with other makeup just isn't there.
It does sometimes accentuate fine lines under the eyes, but it is okay for redness
I do like the range of tones and shades

I'd skip this and put the $3 towards a concealer like Bobbi Brown's, or
even Sonia Kashuk's Hidden Agenda concealer

CoverGirl Coffee Shop eyeshadow quad Swatches & Review

CoverGirl Coffee Shop eyeshadow quad

 The Colors
Warm, a smudgey brown, copper, gold, and white which is perfect for highlighting

They're warm, blendable, very pigmented smooth, and good quality.
I am excited to use this as a everyday look or smoke it out more for evening in the fall
The price is less than $6
It is available at local drugstores
This is a good buy!
As always, I'll answer questions about it in the comments
